A Word from Our Pastor

Many of us are facing trials and problems that are seemingly beyond our ability to solve, and perhaps even beyond any human being’s ability and wisdom. We often remark with discouraged resignation, “Well, all we can do is pray.” Without saying it in words, we are really thinking that since we have tried everything else, “Let’s see if maybe God is able to do anything about our problems.” This is really an attitude of unbelief. Instead, prayer ought to be our first response rather than our last resort. We ought to say with great hope and confidence, “Hey, let’s take this to the Lord in prayer!"
